Who we are

Blumoon runs blumoon.dev and is responsible for the personal data described on this page. We work with clients in the United Kingdom and the European Union, and handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. For anything about your data, email hello@blumoon.dev.

The short version

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. Fonts and images are served from this site, so visiting it doesn't send your data to third parties such as Google. The only personal data we receive is basic technical data from our host, and whatever you choose to send us by email or through our booking page.

What we collect and why

We don't sell personal data or use it for automated decision-making.

Who processes it for us

These providers may process data outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, or standard contractual clauses.

Review bookings are taken through Google Calendar. Google receives the details you enter when you book and handles them under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence and booking details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, then delete it unless we need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons. Technical request data is kept by our host under its own retention policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to send it to you in a portable format. Email hello@blumoon.dev and we'll respond within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding analytics, we'll update this page and the date above.
